How much are 22lrs locally

What kind of a price are you finding 22lr Ammo at your local gun shop or Wal-mart. I have been going to Wal-Mart's several days for weeks on end and haven't found a"1" 22lr round I work days so I go on time off. Today midway sent me two notifications of Ammo in stock but there is a limit of 1 box of 550 at 19.00 then 18.00 shipping and handling with a 3 dollar service fee. I am about ready to pay a local scalper price rather than give the extra 20 dollars to Midways so called shipping charge.

I haven't seen any at Wal-Mart,so I don't know what their prices are. I do know that the local gunshow prices are about 50-60$ a brick.

I have always kept a several thousand round stock on hand, so I'm not needing any right now. Although would like to pick up a few to replace what I have shot of late.

I would do without before I bought from a frigging scalper.

I would much rather give that money to Midway or some other retailer that actually supports the shooting sports and industry.
 
Walmart Remington Golden Bullet 225 pack is $11
Cal Ranch Remington Golden Bullet 525 pack is $22
Scheels Remington Golden Bullet 1400 round bucket $65
Cabelas Remington Thunderbolt 550 pack is $22

That is the prices I have seen in the last month.
 
Last time I caught any at WalMart the Remington golden bullets where $9.99 for a box of 225 . Not real bad but alot higher than used to be but so is everthing else too!!
 
We've found and stocked more 22lr this week than we have since the craziness started. Thirty bricks or so of various brands. Cheapest is armscour at 2.95. Highest CCI at 5.79. That is for a box of fifty. There is hope, we also found 9mm last week that we could sell at 18.95 a box of fifty. The same stuff we had found before and had to sell 24.95.
 
I got 3 bricks (550) at Wal-Mart for $23.97 each. Meijer had 333 for $14.99 two weeks ago. Our local Wal-Mart has been getting .22lr in weekly but it goes FAST.
 
Was at Sportsmans in Portland OR yesterday and they had 22LR CCI Mini Mags for $7.99 per box of 100 ( bought two didn't want to be a pig)and some Remington Thunder Bolt box of 500. Didn't look at the price on them as I only shoot Semi Auto 22's and the thunder bolts don't always work the action properly.
 
Thats nice to see some good prices. I havnt seen any stuff thats what I would call a good price. I bought a 550 pack at big 5 for 32 dollars some remington thunderbolts for 27 all have been one box limits. I have given up on the wal-mart thing. I was stopping at a few after work but never found any and find that being a grummpy old man its not a good place for me to be with rude people. My boy and I like to shoot a pistol match where we go thru 300 rounds a month. I guess all I need to find is enough to keep us going.

About a month ago I got lucky one morning and found some Federal 325 packs at my local WM, I think they were roughly $15-16.
