Always a difficult question because it depends on where you are, how you're selling it, and how bad you want to sell.
Around here, the popular deer calibers are in demand and people who don't know the price of a comparable gun are often willing to pay stupid prices. Varmint rifles like the .22-250, however, aren't as sought after so they don't hold value in the same way.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but new, I think that gun probably went for the $650 range.
As always, I can only say what I think it would sell for around here. YMMV, it's worth exactly what one person is willing to pay. It just depends on how long you're willing to wait to find that one. . .
IMO, you have to be realistic because regardless of how many rounds have gone through it, it's still a used gun. I think $450 would be a realistic price. No harm in starting at $500 and maybe you find someone right away who's been looking at new and then $500 is a deal. But if you want to sell, I'd be prepared to come down a little.
You can watch the online sites, but word of warning. You have to watch what comparable guns SELL for and NOT what they're listed for. The online sites like Gun Broker and GunsAmerica have become almost useless for buyers because they are clogged with chancers trying to achieve ridiculous prices in hopes that they'll be the seller who catches the sucker. You need to watch until you find guns that actually sell so you can see the real price the market is willing to pay.
