How to get rid of the new rubber boot smell ?

I could not afford the new non scent boots on the market so I just bought a decent pair of calf height rubber boots. They fit well and will work for fall coyote hunting BUT they do have an odor. Is there anything I can wash with or apply to these boots to stop this "new rubber boot smell"?
Or will they just have to wear the smell off?
All comments appreciated.

The fastest way i know of is to do chores in them. if you can go stand in some cow $hit for awhile it will help. thats the best idea i can come up with but then you will have to hunt farm land.

Hey cracker...thanks for the reply. I figured it will just take some time before the new smell goes away. I'll try to find some $hit here on the farm that we live on....its worth a try. oh yeah...I ordered my Loudmouth last week. This is going to be interesting. Also..I may hunt the "Bong" area. Its shotgun only, but worth a try. They have 4500 acres. later...

If you figure that one out, let me know. I bought a pair of Advantage Camo knee high's about four years ago from a reputable sporting goods outlet for, like, $50. They didn't smell all that much in the store. But, first time out bowhunting with them, on the way to my hunting spot in the pickup, the heater vents were aimed down on them and when they warmed up, WHEW! The entire truck smelled like burning tires. They're just as bad today as they were then. Been sitting in the garage nursing spider babies ever since. Tried to e-mail Remington customer servive, but no response.
