How to skin a bobcat..........?

I have been searching for a video that shows the best way to skin a bobcat. I would think that I would not want to cut the belly where the spots are. What is the best way to get the inside legs out of the fur?

Any tips or videos you can recommend?

I came across a post a while back (I think on this sight) that worked great.
1.Cut around the rear ankles and cut across the butt. Ankle to ankle.
2.Take a piece of paracord and tie a "hangmans" noose on either end.
3.Attatch a noose to each ankle.
4.Hang cat on a post or limb.
5.Start peeling down.
When you get to an ankle or wrist cut it off.
When you're done you'll have a cat tube

.

It's way faster(and easier) than skinning on the ground. Works on coyotes too

Thanks guys.....I am trying like the dickens to get me a bobcat this year. So far I have only had deer on my trail cam. I tried putting out some of the predator pile but I think the deer eat that up too. I know there is a cat in the area ......or there was last year. With work being somewhat slow.....I may have to skip a mount and just get him skinned.

Look up Fur Harvester Auction Inc. click on educational has everthing you need to know and maybe you can ship your fur you want to sell there I do.

if you want a bobcat buy a cage trap and make a separate cage on the back That you can put a chicken in then zip tie the chicken cage to the back of the cage trap. then just go collect the hords of cats you will have

The links that motox and wilded gave you are a good basic start. If you want to get the maximum out of your hides you want what we call the "Nevada Stretch". You skin the cat like shown on the other link only when it goes on the stretcher you pull the front legs up under the chin and pull the hind legs together from the belly down. This gives the illusion of a longer belly. Look around on this link and they have some good illistrations.

Good luck
