Howa 1500 300 win mag

Used to be able to pick them up pretty easy at that price or less and they made great inexpensive donor actions because a lot of people didn't or couldn't cut metric threads, the barrels are metric thread, but then everyone seemed to catch on to the fact they made great shooting semi customs and I haven't seen one at that price for years.
The older ones had horrid triggers in them but that's easily fixed with an aftermarket trigger and many of them had the cheap plastic stocks that are junk, but, also easily cured with an aftermarket stock.
I think, even if it has the old style trigger and cheap plastic stock, it's still a good deal at that price.
Have a 6.5-06AI semi custom that was built around a Howa 1500 long action and it shoots just as good as any of my full customs.
