this has probably been posted before but does anyone have experiance with howa rifles. thinking of getting axiom in 223, shooting rock river heavy barell ar now, wanting something lighter,thanks for youre help
 
the axiom is not light, the howa/hogu rifel would be lighter. Howa makes a great gun though, tey make the barreled actions for the Weatherby Vanguard rifles. Great shooters.

i own a howa 1500 chambered in 22-250 love it! not a bad rifle for the money, better trigger pull than the pre-accu trigger savages bolt was a little stiff for the first 50 or so shots. Good rifle with a easy price!
 
I own a Howa 1500 in .308, mine is the Heavy Barrel, I like it better than the couple of savages I own, and better price too.
 
i have the axiom in 22-.250, i love my rifle. it is a little heavy but not bad. packed it on my deer hunt a few months back and took a cous deer at 100 yds. great shooting rifle.
 
Absoutley love my Axiom in 204 but like others have said if your wanting a light gun to pack in and out of stands the axiom isnt what most would consider light. I believe the gun itself is right a round 10lbs
