I have a 22-250 SS/synthetic heavy barrel(varmint). I
developed hand loads with VV N140(near max), pushing a
50 gr. Vmax. that shoot groups averaging around .5 MOA, with
this rifle. It has shot some .2s and even a .16, when the moon
and stars aligned. The only thing I did was work the trigger
down to a 1 lb pull, with just a hint of travel.
I won this rifle at a DU banquet
I also won a Howa 1500 Sporter in 300 WSM. It is a pretty
decent shooter, too. I have a Barnes 165 gr. XLC load that
regularly goes sub-MOA. Plenty good for elk and deer. It hurts
a little more to shoot than the 22-250
