i did some experimenting the last couple of days. i used my foxpro and coyote locater as well as coyote serenade. i located close to 60 coyotes in small packs of 2-4. every valley and flat had coyotes in them. the weather was such that they were not responding to prey sounds very well. i did manage to get a couple. in the past i was able to locate them and sneak in and call them. they were having none of this. i'm wondering if they have just been messed with to much. i sat on a hill side and challenged one coyote for close to half an hour. at the end he was where he started and so was i. any advise except give up.
