Anybody have luck with HS6 powder in 357, 44 special, and 44magnum? Its a medium power powder from what I’ve read. Not necessarily looking for top level loads in these guns

gonna try it sometime in my 357 blackhawk, 44 special flat top, and bisley super Blackhawk.

I’ve loaded 2400 for max loads in my redhawk for yrs, and I’m gonna save what I have for that gun. it’s great in it.

I have loaded HS6 in 38/357. No target or hunting load development, just a powder that was available and is compatible. My hand loads shoot better than factory so there is that.

I use to have a Beasley Blackhawk in 45lc that I use to load for. Normal plinking loads i usually used 231 and hot stuff i used 296 I believe.
Nowadays I strictly load practice ammo for everything and use strictly titegroup.

I had a 44 special round not ignite all the powder. At work and don't remember my exact load. I'm sure it wasn't a max load but no mouse fart either. Bullet was so slow you could see it. I think hs6 likes a little more pressure. It works but I won't be using it in 44 special anymore.
