HSM Ammo

I see that Midway sells "HSM" Ammunition but I haven't heard of this brand. (I haven't bought ammo for a while.) I'm considering a couple boxes using the 55 Grain Sierra BlitzKing bullets in .223 for coyote. Has anyone used this brand factory ammo? Thanks!

The most accurate, out of the box ammo i have ever used in 7mm rem mag and 30-06. Loaded hot. Unbelievable accuracy.
I have not used a ton of factory ammo in my life. I shot my reloads 99% of the time for 35 years.
I have shot some federal fusion in 270 win that was very good. Win and rem ammo in theses calibers seemed just ok.

Thanks for the feedback, it sounds like I can't go wrong with a couple boxes of these. I'll get some for my Rem 700.

I tried a box of the .243 100gr SPBT and it shot ok. IIRC, the speeds were much better than the Hornady AW, but didn't shoot near as well.

It's good factory ammo and they have good brass. It is loaded quit a bit hotter and shoots better than any other factory ammo I have been around... JMO

HSM has been in business for many years. They are located near Stevensville Montana. My Sheriffs Dept. used their practice ammunition with great results.

The more I hear, the more I look forward to shooting them. As soon as I can get to the range with them I'll post photos.

Great ammo and great people to deal with. I have a 22-250 rifle and a 6mm remington rifle that shoots their loads so well, it would be difficult to improve upon with hand loading. I shot my smallest group ever with their 6mm 75 grain max ammo. Never a problem with their ammo.

They used to make ammo in 20 Tactical. I really liked it, especially for the Dakota brass they were using at the time. It was worth it just for that.
