Hunting in Central NY

I know that it is late in the season but I am looking for a hunting partner in Central NY below Syracuse. I am new but I am having pretty good luck.

Where are your stomping grounds and what have you been seeing or hearing? Season closes in a couple of days, but next year we could get a hunt in. This past Sunday eve I called a beautiful blonde yote into 20 steps. Quite a sight to see...

I hunt in chenango & cortland county mainly,and some in deleware.I started a month ago ! got 2 one red-blonde,one regular.I have called in a total of about 15.Two big black males have busted that iwant badly!!! went out this morning nothing.been getting skunked for about 10 days.I think they are educating me.Any tips or pointers from u or any one would be greatly apreciated.talk to u soon! thanks 30cal

I live in Elmira.I just got into coyote hunting recently myself.I got an electronic caller about the end of feb.I have only made a few stands but plan on doing some serious predator hunting this coming fall.
 
Hey 30 cal!

I'm from Western Mass, sounds like you have had some decent success out there. I'm new to the site and to the sport of predator hunting. Seems all I do is deer hunt and turkey hunt. I took up predator hunting to take up some of the winter doldrums we all experience. I've hunted N.Y. the past 3 years for deer, but not predators. Hey, nice meeting you.

hello 30cal. we should get together next season. I was coming back from smelting last night a saw a couple of fox on the roads, which frustrated me because I did not see them during the season. I am workin on getting a good caller and a .223 for next season. I did get quite a few smelt last night.
