Going too see rockinbbar soon ,for a deer hunt !
Close to Mexico. Do the Mule Deer in West Tx speak Spanish ?

Just take an open reed coyote call, put lips/teeth at the reed where it comes out of the call and give a short blow....yup its a grunt call now, speaks in all languages.



A deep belch sounds good also as it will emit the scent of your innards to cover any human body scent.

I doubt you will need a grunt call. Now when I was out there last year mule deer were responding very well to jackrabbit distress it was mostly the does but I did call in three bucks and one was a trophy but I had already filled my tag.

Plan on taking a couple had calls for preds. I'm wanting to take 2 rifles ,if I can make weight.

I'm just fooling about the grunter anyway !

The reason the respond to the jack distress is cause they are the same size. Oh and only does, sounds right to me no bucks there
