I have an ICOtec GC-350 caller that I haven't used in several years. I have some extra time on my hands, so I thought I would download some new sounds on the SD card. After going thru the process of selecting what I wanted for call sounds, downloading them and installing/transferring them to the SD card, it would only play the first sound on the card.
No matter which button I selected 1-12 on the A side or 13-24 on the B side, it would only play the first sound on the SD card.
I contacted ICOtec via email and described the issue. I got a prompt replay that asked if the calls were numbered like 001 Coyote Pup Distress, 002 Rabbit Distress, 003 Lone Howls, etc. He said that the call sounds need to be numbered with a space after the number, then the sound name. Also, the call sounds have to be in .ico or .jpeg format.
After going into the SD card and renaming the sounds with the number designations and a space between the number and the name of the sound, it worked perfectly.

I probably knew this....once upon a time, but it's been a good 6 or 7 years since I've used this caller. It's good to have it back up and running for some coyote hunting and some coon calling around some abandoned buildings.
I thought this would be good information to pass along and great news to find out about the awesome support from ICOtec.
