Illuminator That Takes 18650 Batteries

Ok then you have several options.
Contact Joe at Night Eyes, I heard a rumor that he has a new 850nm Illuminator that is about to hit the market. It has a standard 1" body that will fit in an offset mount for rail mounting and it uses the 18650 battery. It is a good illuminator.
There are a couple of other brands available as well. Sniper Hog and EWT both have them, or they did the last time that I looked. EWT will sell you a 850nm module for the 100 series scan light, that's what I did but that light is not as bright as the Night Eyes or the Sniper Hog. I own and use all 3 of those brands.

Yes I have a Nighteyes red headlamp and it is awesome, great company and customer service. Also have a Sniper Hog Mini-Sniper with red and green heads but I don't think they make heads for it anymore.

You could call Robert at Sniper Hog and ask if he has a drop in IR module that will fit your Mini-Sniper light. I don't know but it's worth a shot. That would be the cheapest way to go for sure, especially if you're not using the LED light.

Nycaller,

We have a couple of options for you. Our T-20 850nm 3 mode intensity switch (15%-50%-100%) IR will support either one 18650 battery or two CR123 Batteries - http://www.hightechredneckincorporated.com/High-Tech-Red-Neck-T-20-IR-850nm-p/nva3155.htm

Our T-20 Infinity uses a rotary dimmer switch that allows for infinite light intensity settings from 0 to 100% and uses one 18650 Battery only. It is also our most powerful unit when set at 100% - http://www.hightechredneckincorporated.com/High-Tech-Red-Neck-T-20-Infinity-IR-Device-p/nva3165.htm

Check either of them out, Kevin
