Put up a bat house to encourage the presence of these shy animals.

Bats consume 3,000 or more mosquitoes and other insects nightly,
and bats are less likely to be rabid than dogs are.

Need another reason?

Bats are responsible for up to 95 percent of the seed dispersal
essential to the regeneration of forests.

Our planet is populated with plenty of bizarre
and astonishing creatures.

Here are three from the Bat Family

So 2 out of 3 Bats have a useful purpose!
if we could just train her to eat mosquitoes...or do anything useful...

I shoulda' seen that comin'.

On a more serious note, Put up a "Bat House" (I have one on the back side of my garage and the bats are using it) 'cause they REALLY DO eat a lot of flying insects.
I won't say for sure they have decreased the number of mosquitoes around the house. But there seems to be fewer around since I put up up my "Bat Box".

man bats dont bother "ding bats thats another story" but i realy hate possums! even though they help eat nasty decaying animals that have diseases. thier body temperature is too low to hold very many if at all disease themselves!
