Indiana calling tourney/hunt club

You're planning pretty far ahead!

I found the forum that you guys are talking on. I'm too lazy to sign up for another right now. I'd appreciate it if you keep me informed of what y'all are up to. Just add me to the list of interested parties. I live between Bloomington and Bedford so going to Evansville is a long drive. I'm also pretty inexperienced at this. My success rate is pretty dismal. Just let me know if you guys decide to have a group hunt/contest.

Edited to add that the email address listed here is the one I check often, so I'll see a message sent there.

JimT if you can muster up enough energy to lift your hands to the keyboard one more time type out your e-mail address here or send it to me at the above e-mail so we can keep you posted. I don't see it in your posts or profile.

Weedwacker,
You now have permission to post the link to your site. If anything changes regarding your link, we will deal with it at that time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Weedwack and I have been discussing a Indiana Predator Hunting club. We are looking for guys/gals to chime in and express a interest. Right now we have agreed that the state needs to be broken up into different zones for a better participation rate. Anyone that is in a Predator Club please feel free to throw in any ideas or suggestions. I really enjoyed hunting with Rich and Tyler Higgins during a Arizona club hunt. I would love to see something similiar here in Indiana. Thanks

Randy

I see, it was turned off in my profile, we'll see if it works now.

Hrrrm. Ok, I'll just email it to you. If I can. We'll see.

Ok, I think I see. You should be able to get it now.

I'm wound entirely too tight lately. My wife is out of town until June 28, starting May 9. Little things like sarcasm that should be amusing, make me mad. Down Jim, down. Whoa boy, he's making a funny. Seriously though,
I'm already a member of arfcom, a glock forum, PM, GGVG and probably a few others I can't think of. Oh, two archery forums and the H&R and Marlin forums until they were taken down. So forgive me if I don't feel like memorizing another username/pass.
See...wound tight. I need to relaaaxxx.

I understand. I've got way too many forums bookmarked too, some I have not visited in many moons. Not to diss you again or anything, but when I was in your profile I apparently inadvertantly put you on something called an "ignore list" Can't figure out how to get you off. I put you on the "buddy list" thinking it might cancel out your placement on the "ignore list". It did not. So now you are my buddy, but I may ignore you, but not by choice. Not going to worry about it, feeling wound tightly myself /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif Got the address, will keep you posted.

Well...

We tried to get an Illinois club going a few years ago, the IVHA. We had nearly a hundred members signed up. The problem was there was little or no money to make the thing go. What was accomplished was paided for be a few hard working core members and our pockets just weren't deep enough to make it work. Like you fellows we had ground and plans for a hunt that never happened. I think the website is still up if you do a search for IVHA. Might be some interesting ideas for you especially the objectives statement. That said, I need to remind the original webmaster to remove all the member addresses, definitely a no-no these days!
If you get something going I'm only a couple hours away so I'll be watching.
Good Luck, Nikonut /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Niko, would you be able to help us or provide us with email addresses to people that could? We want to make sure this thing goes smoothly and stuff... no better tutor than one who's been there and done that. Same goes for anyone else with experience in this sort of thing. Thanks.

Guys, it's hard to get a club like that started. You need by-laws, dues, a hunt chairman, Pres, VP, Secretary, Treasurer and much much more. I was a member of a predator hunting club for many years, I even started a couple chapters of that club. I have some old by-laws I could send you guys if you needed them to get started, also some rules for club hunts. I hope you guys get it all together. The more hunting clubs the better, Good Luck.

Come on over to our site Danny, give us your input. If you don't have time for that just drop me and email and I'll spread the word with the guys. [url=mailto:Jrbhunter@hotmail.com

Definatly intersested. Northern or central Indiana prefered. Email is in my profile. I have expressed my interest in this to jrbhunter through email. I hope you guys can get it going.

Thanks for the email Swift. We'll hopefully be having meetings for input in the next couple months. It does appear at this time that the first hunt will probably be in Southern Indiana.

Hopefully hunts in central and northern Indiana will come soon enough. If anyone is interested and has the capacity to accomodate a hunt in Central or Northern Indiana we'd love to hear from you as well!

I think what you guys want to do is very nice. I would be interested in joining up with you. I live in the central part of the state so I can hunt north or south it doesn't matter to me. Please keep me informed of your plans and progress.

Good luck.. coyote 6974
