This was my initial try (March '08) at making a howler from a Wyoming Pronghorn. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Any & all feedback will be appreciated!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
BTW, this call is not for sale.

I've got one in the shop I'm going to start playing with sometime /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

oh man and i don't even pick up antalope sheds. guess i'll have to start. i see them all the time in the winter but i'm normally still in coyote hunting mode when antalope shed their sheaths.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Do any of you see anything I might want to do different next time? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
I know I'm going to try a different "clearcoat".
This one has 8-10 coats of DEFT gloss spray, & sometimes the "hairs" still poke me or come loose. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

(Bmoe, if I ever get around to becoming a HOB, there WILL be a few more.) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Dusty, I liked the fact that it was hollow like a cow horn. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Casey, I didn't realize that they actually shed them! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I bought these at a local auction in March.
They were loose, but still sitting over the skull cap & cores, attached to a board.
A couple of them still had the 1981 Wyoming firearms permits attached to them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Interesting--nice work! Like was said, that is the first one I have seen from a Pronghorn horn!
Tim
