Insurance - Thermal, scope, suppressor, firearms

I have NRA gun insurance and at renewal I asked if the item (suppressor or optic) is covered if not attached to the firearm. Reply was "They are covered if attached to the firearm". As I often store suppressors and QD scopes (eg very expensive thermal scope) off the firearm that isn't good enough for me. I also swap between firearms which makes scheduling with a firearm impossible.
So, what insurance do you guys use? any positive or negative experience?
A forum search showed collectibles insurance services as an option. Others?
Thanks

I have an inland marine police on my homeowners that covers everything bumper to bumper with a zero deductible. Lost stolen broke it doesn’t matter it’s covered. I think my coverage costs me about $9/1000 per year

Myself, and a few other just signed up for a blanket policy with Eastern Insurance Group. They offer a $40k blanket policy that covers firearms, optics, archery equipment, ammo, and reloading equipment. Covers if you damage it (Drop in lake, fall from tree) or it gets stolen. They are $150 a year with $150 deductible.

Seemed like a pretty good deal with hardly any negative feedback from asking around.
