Interesting Picture

I do believe that is one of our members here. Maybe he will come out and affirm it. And if it is him, thenit is for real. He does that every year.

I think it is a real picture but I doubt he shot all of them by just calling. I think if the story was known they were probably shot from an airplane. I once knew a pilot who shot hundreds years ago and I had a picture of me standing on a big big pile of frozen coyotes by his hanger. I wish I could find the picture. It's very possible to pile up that many coyotes.

Whiskers, where did you get that video of my girl? (that is the most unique avtar I have seen on here)

If memory serves me; Big Ben is right, I believe Redfrog posted that earlier this year. He is an inspiration to alot of us on here.

The picture is real. The thing of it is not one was called and shot. It was taken in Saskatchewan. He snares and sells snaring supplies. You got to remember that they don't have any predator control programs there and most Canadians don't have enough ambiton to get out there and harvest coyotes so there is a dense population of coyotes there and excellent snaring terrain.Just ask someone who has went up there hunting the big white tails they see coyotes every where. One more thing about the picture if you take the time to count the coyotes there is no where near as many as there seems to be. The picture is a few years old but a friend of mine counted them and I think there was either 160 or 180 coyotes. Not that is not a good number but it does look like there is more than there really is.

There are a couple of interesting pictures in this thread, both of which leave you wondering: "are they real?"

Okay I just shot milk through my nose and it landed on my 8 year old sons head, Candidus you crack me up, that was a very well said line.

Thanks,
Rus

I think he posts on trapperman.com. I think he both traps and calls if my memory serves me correctly.

I've seen a guy over there with a pic of all of his red fox that were put up. I forget the number but I think he caught over 1,000.

That's an impressive haul of coyotes no matter what method was used to take them.

Thanks for the awesome pic! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Take care and God Bless,

Rusty

To clear this up. His name is Marty Senacor. He is from southern ALberta and traps and calls his predators. Most on the barn would have been trapped. He does sell supplies.

Most Canadians have ambition, however hunting and trapping is becoming a thing of the past thanks to our liberal ways.

Coyote densities are very high in southern Alberta where he traps and lives as well as Saskatchewan. I have a friend that made about 10K this year from his furs.
