This is the New HOM Coaxer from THO Game Calls. I will be stocking this call on my web site www.thogamecalls.com
This one is for sale, $20.00 which includes first class shipping. I only have one today.
This call has been designed to be used several different ways.
First, you will notice that there are three coaxer reeds in the call. By placing your finger tips over the two reeds on the side of the call, it works as a normal coaxer.
By moving your finger across the two reeds on the side of the call while blowing it, you get the effect of a Herd Of Mice - hence the HOM Coaxer name.
For a bit more volume, and some great bird distress sounds, turn the call sideways and suck on the two reeds on the side of the call.
The call is designed to be played like a regular call, or held in your lips hands free. Because of this, I will only be making them out of Dymondwood and acrylic. (perhaps some delrin). Dymondwood is resign impregnated and will not be effected by moisture and it is non toxic and does not need a finish, again avoiding any toxicity issues.
here are a couple of sound clips. The first is as the call would be played normally and the second is as the call is played on the side.
