Here are a few pictures of how the IOSSO brass liquid brass cleaner works. I have been useing it for a few years now and really like it. Brass is cleaned very well and only in a matter of minutes. The brass was only in the IOSSO about 60 seconds. Maybe this will help some of you decide if you would like to try it or not....Jason

It even cleans the primer pocket pretty good.

I use it to pre-clean really tarnished cases, and then tumble
to a high luster. Some crud will actually turn red on the
brass when soaked in IOSSO. That will get removed with a good
long run with walnut media and case polish in a vibratory
tumbler.

You will have to tumble in some sort of protectant, like flitz media polish, the cases will tarnish very fast if you don't. I use ISSO on my brass but tumble for and hour or so after to add a protective coat. Adam

Jason, I have used IOSSO, but mostly I use C.L.R [calcium lime and rust], or Lime away. Both in a diluted form. It all works great. The household cleaners are just always on hand.

All brass does tarnish, it is the nature of nonferrous metals. A light oil coat works for me.

I am not sure IOSSO would work in a ultra sonic. It does foam up a little. I would think that would be way worse in a ultra sonic...Jason

was thinking about adding just a little to my mixture--the dawn doesnt foam up much --just have to try it and see --thanks
