Iowa coyotes on public hunting land ?

What a great site! Does anyone hunt the east side Of Iowa? What about hunting the public land this time of year? Has anyone spent any time hunting the public land in Iowa and had any luck? Any does and donts would be helpful. Thanks
 
I can't vouch for the public land. But I would think after bird & deer seasons are over they would have to hold coyote. I know a guy that said he called one in last year on public land. Good luck!
 
Most of us Iowa boys are having a very tough go of things this year. We need some of that white stuff that everyone else seems to have but us. There are a lot of good public lands here in Iowa and as the deer seasons and bird seasons end, we should have better luck. 60 degrees in January just aint normal.

Do you Iowa folk have any names of the different public hunting lands in Iowa? I am planning on getting an atlas, but just wanted to know of some good spots as far as public land gos.
