Ir hunter mk2 35mm coyote video

I am going to purchase a scope for hunting coyotes at night. Most of my buddies have gen 2 and 3 night vision scopes. Could you give me some advice on which type to get,a night vision or thermal scope and which brand to purchase?

I just bought an armasight genesis quicksilver from high tech redneck man that thing is really sweet if there is any star or moon light you don't need your ir. can't hunt here till jan. so no kills yet. I would contact him he has several versions. mine is gen 2 clear enough to see cow piles at 180 yards
