No. Unless you are like standing right over them with a high power IR. NV device enhances the inner eye reflection. Critters can see it. They may not be sure what it is at first but I know for a fact Hogs learn fast. Really fast.

I think what animals see is the light source. As SkyPup has pointed out many times, coyotes are very limited in seeing colors. The 850nm IR light gives off a red glow at the led which coyotes probably see as a shade of gray, but when looking directly into an IR light they will see that glow. Deer will always turn their attention to the light source when it is pointed at them. I have no idea what color they see, but they do see something at the source.
