I've state it here on PM before, I took my first gray fox using a quaker boy turkey diaphram. The little fella came charging hard to the call. I was blowing across it real hurridly trying to mimic a ditress sound. I know of lots of coyotes that have been taken during turkey season. If you're a good caller you can make most any sound you please with a diaphram. I don't go into the woods without one. I particularly like them for stopping hard charging coyotes. Just one chirp and they usually stop in their tracks and present a good shot. If they're REAL hard chargers you can add more volume of need be. IMHO you shouldn't be without a diaphram while on stand.
