Right after picking up my new All-Weather 77/22 in .22 Mag last week, I installed an $80 trigger kit from Jard.....

The overall design and finish is exceptional. The eliptically-headed screw for the safety stop instead of having to do stoning is brilliant! Adjustments are easily made to sear engagement; it can be taken down to one molecule of contact area! The over-travel stop isn't quite - it's more of a very good over-travel limiter. I want a trigger to stop dead the moment the sear is released; the JARD requires a bit of play to allow the trigger to reset.

I ordered a 2 1/2# spring; the one they sent me was about 1/2#. A friend fixed me up with a heavier spring that I cut to get me to about 2 1/2#.

They sent a small sample of blue Loc-Tite to put on the threads of the adjusting screws. I wish they had sent me the required 1/16" ball-and-hex wrench instead; I had to buy an entire set for $19.

In the field, I notice nothing!
I think; it fires.
This is a Very Good Trigger! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
