Jewell trigger

Santa Claus is bringing me a Jewell for my 22-250. I run a Timney in my '06 and a Shilen in my 300. I like the stock trigger in my 25. Since this is my first Jewell and I have not pulled one before, are these triggers worth the price?

The only problem I have experienced with Jewell triggers is the after math.

After you have tried ONE, You will be doing math to figure out how to buy another.

um ya... what he said...

I have two Jewell HVR triggers and love them.

One set at 28 ozs and one at 2.5 lbs.

I have two of them also. They are the closest thing to perfect that you can put on a gun. The only problem I have with mine is once you get used to them, it makes shooting your other guns that don't have one almost impossible.

I've been disapointed with my last two HVR's. The three lever design is awesome for light pulls, but I don't care a whole lot for it at the heavy 28 oz. pull weight all my hunting rifles are set for. The creep is too noticeable. Personally, I actually prefer a factory 700 trigger safely adjusted to 28 oz. over the HVR. I don't expect anyone to agree with me though.
