Kahles

Just wondering what people think that own Kahles scopes. I had a deal that was too good to pass up on one. It is by far my favorite scope I have ever had. The clarity still amazes me.

Kahles is owned by Swarovski. If I remeber correctly, the Kahles is also made on the Swaro pruduction line. The Kahles binos take second place to their Swaro cousins while the scopes run neck and neck.

I have the 4x12 30 mm tube on my Tikka T-3 lite SS .270. Can't think of a better deer/antelope/elk combo.

I believe Kahles and Swarovski are owned by the same parent company, but all Kahles optics are designed and built in the Kahles parent plant in Vienna, Austria. The companies operate completely independent of each other.

It has been said that in parts of Europe the Kahles is the premium scope and Swarovski is the working mans scope.

I have never owned a Kahles. I have had a couple of Swaroski scopes and have a pair of 10x42 SLC binos now, if the Kahles are better or even equal, then that says a [beeep] of lot to me!! I think you have a great quaility scope!

Kahles and Swaro's use the best glass in the world. The Kahles line just doesn't have the proprietary 'swarobright' coating that swarovski uses.
