you can shoot coyotes with your Non-Resident hunting license. Lots of private land to contend with, but there are decent areas of public land spread around the state. You need a non-resident furharvestor license to shoot bobcats, raccoon, etc. Expect to pay a few $$ for the furharvestor license. Furbearer season actually doesn't open up til mid-November in Kansas.

For not living in Kansas, no cool nickname yet, pretty much covered it all.Opening weekend of phesant season would not be a good time to call though. The yotes are pretty shookup then. There are good areas of public land there also enough private land for the asking.Come on out we need your money.Ks.Rope. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

And depending on what part of KS. you'll be hunting, you may be able to do quite well calling during the opening weekend of bird season. In some areas of KS. there are big and rough pastures where no bird hunter will go and where plenty of coyotes live. So, find out what the area is like and if there is an abundance of rough pasture and crop fields and CRP for birds, then by all means, plan on doing some calling too!

HI i am going to KS this yr coyote hunting my wife family has 18,000 acres of farm land they own it is north of Russell Kan man i cant wait becaue nobody in her family coyote hunts VM
