I was pokin' around the 'secret stash' of maple up in the shop's floor joists, and found a couple good ones. After a round trip out to the stabilizer's, I was at a loss about what to do with them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I figured I'd make up a couple howlers for a couple hunting buddies. Terry, Kerry, if you have room for them, I'll send them along. If not, I'm screwed. The names are on there permanently. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anyway, I always like to share pictures of amazing stock, and mother nature worked overtime on these blanks.

Your board really set the wood off. Ya'll really need to check out Loren's tone boards. They rock! And the shine up real nice too. The translucent colors are really cool. You can actually see through them!

Kim, I'm a little scared of you, so I'll sratch out 'erry' and put in 'im'. LOL!
