krypton or halogen bulbs?

Whats the difference between these? Not sure which to order for my wizard 2 headlamp. I'll be fox hunting with a shotgun.

Krypton's are a bit brighter. I got a few from Radio Shack for my Wizard, and they seen to last longer than the halogens. As I recall, RS has both in their stores.

my step-grandfather swears by the kryptons... He will not use anything else.. we went duck hunting about 2 weeks ago and had a 45 minute delay just to get the right bulb for the bow light on the duck boat.. I see no difference but hey to each his own!!

I have a Coon Hunters Fav. 11. Use the Krytons in it. Seems to be a better bulb than their P12 that comes with the unit. Did pick up 10 for back-up though. Ya never know when even the best bulb will go.
