I quit doing Ladder test. I started doing the OCW method. I go 7% under max and depending on the Caliber I go up in either .2 or .4 Gr increments.
I load ten shells at each increment and shoot two five shot groups.
The reason I shoot two groups is that sometimes you might have a bad group with the first five and then a better with then next five. For me it is just a way of weeding out the bad for the good.
