Hello Gentlemen, I am new to this forum. I am a semi retired gunsmith(if there is such a thing)and have been around weapons for a long time. Vietnam warhorse vintage. Haven't hunted much in a long time. So many new things out there. A friend lent me a Laser Genetics nd3-40 sub zero laser designator. Mounted it on a rifle and have been playing with it some. Interesting. Was wondering if anyone has some comments about them. Usablity and how they hold up under use, ect. Cheers, Ottway

Ive used the same for night hutning & its top shelf IMO. Not a single issue to date even with it being dropped many times. Nice green light tosses 200 yards easy, will light up a critters eyes way past that.

I have a buddy that uses it...he hasnt had any problems with it. I have to say that the eyes really shine and pop out with that thing. You hear good and bad about them, but I dont see anything bad yet with my buddies, other than cost. We are in upstate NY and it gets plenty cold here, and he hasnt had an issue...cant say the same with his Fury, which always seems to stop working when its cold.

I have a 1st gen. model. Piece of junk. Too much $ for too little light and it doesn't work below about 40 degrees. BSA customer service is crap.
