Last night yote

My dead pile coyote. Came in 3rd night in a row. Has all the ear marks of this years pup. Got porcupine quills in it, smells like a skunk. Teeth are super white and pointy, 22.5# male. Big framed nice coated. With a belly full of grass, cactus tunas, mesquite beans, and some pig hair.


I realized I’m not a patient person. I sat from 7:30pm to 4:05 am. I really wanted to watch him work my dead pile. Also wanted to shoot him broadside off the shoulder to see exactly how those 80 grain v match loads performed. Well maybe next time.

All good my friend, i got some rest now I’m reading things right today. Well i did shoot 5 times or was it 6. He ended up winding me and taking off. He was with a bunch of cattle and i needed him to get clear.

I use 2 18650s and sometimes tap into internal battery power. My scanner has a crazy battery life. I’ve never had it die over a nights work.

Wow, that's awesome. I'm going to need to figure out some external power packs to use for my scope and scanner.
