Ok, now this one is the last hog that’s been showing up at this property. He was a little tougher because he wasn’t consistent. I’d actually set my alarm an hour early because he showed up at 0500 the day before. He showed about 10pm last night (ignore time and date on scope) and I decided I’d rather go then than get up really early, lol!
Deer blew the initial walk in so I waited. He came out again and I swear the minute I was about to shoot a deer blew again and back in the brush he went!!! I was committed now, so it was a waiting game. He gave it a good 15min or so before testing the water again, but I was ready!
I grabbed the SFAR for this one. It’s topped with the AGM Rattler shooting 110gr Varmgeddons. He made it about 50yds in the brush which saved me from having to drag him off!!
