LCP Pocket Holster?

I need a pocket holster for my LCP. I carried it loose in a
pocket last year. I don't have any concerns about it
going off in there, but I do get concerned about debris in the
bore, and keeping it orientated for the draw.

So generally, what should I look for in a pocket holster.
It will mostly be carried in canvas shorts pockets, not
cargo shorts pockets, just regular shorts pockets. Any
particular brands/models to look at?

Thanks for any info you might choose to share.

I have a DeSantis Nemesis for my LCP: Nemesis . Cabelas has them for a little cheaper than the DeSantis website. I've carried mine almost everyday for a few years. I carry in blue jean pockets with no problem.

I found one at Walmart, small revolver pocket holster, it fit nicely, has held up to daily use, and cost $9.00, can't remember the brand, package was Red.

desantis or Blackhawk(from Walmart). Both are great. Desantis is of course the better of the two following the "you dry what you pay for" adage.

I've got a blackhawk, ordered in. It works well except the outer seam separated and started catching the slide lock (tcp not lcp) and pulling the holster with the pistol. A couple dabs of superglue and it was fine. Cheap too.

Desantis Nemesis for me. I modded mine a bit by sewing the end shut to help keep lint and other pocket crap out of the muzzle. I also have the Desantis pocket mag carrier that I modded to hold 2 mags instead of just one. It's a pretty good ultra light setup.

I have both of those but now use the Hunter pocket holster. Its abt $20 heavy leather and does not print in the back pocket. I can send you one of the others.

I can't recommend the uncle mike's style of pocket holster unless all you think you will really ever need to do is carry it. If you actually need it, I wouldn't count on that uncle mike's not coming out of your pocket with gun. I carried my S&W bodyguard 380 in one for about a month and getting that pistol into action would have been a two handed operation. One to draw the pistol, with holster still on it, and the other to pull the holster off. I never did find a way that was even remotely discreet to get that gun out of my pocket minus the holster. I ended up ordering a Bear Creek wallet holster for mine, but there are others that are very similar and would be my choice. Check out Uncle George's, Talon Industries or Pocketholsters.com for similar style holsters with a thumb push off.

Squeeze, I'll give you my Uncle Mike's if you send me an address to send it to. You can see for yourself if it meets your needs for free. I'll even cover the postage, I'm not gonna need it.

I have 3 Safariland holsters for the rear pocket carry, suede exterior and glazed interior. We use them for rear pocket carry with 2" snubby's in .38sp and .44sp and a 3"Kimber in .45acp/crimsontrace. Very easy extraction from the holster. I carry mine in blue jeans not sure about working with a Docker type pants. Wife has a purse with a horizonal side pocket that works well.

Roger,

Thanks for the offer. It looks like the Nemesis is going
get purchased. This is going to be front right pocket
carry, in some fairly baggy shorts, so it needs to be "sticky".

As for the rear pocket carry guys, I carry my wallet in
my strong side rear pocket. If I went that way, I would
have to move the wallet to the other side, and then I
wouldn't use a holster. I would blow off the puny LCP,
and stuff the Glock 27 in the pocket. It kind of prints
like a big fat wallet or a whiskey flask.
