Learning to rust blue

So my good friend and neighbor has been honing his gunsmithing skills and recently put out a book to explain his process of rust bluing. Near as we can tell the newest literature on this was sometime in the 30's!
He has done a few guns for me and it still blows my mind how much a bit of quality bluing can make a cheap junker feel brand new again.
For anyone curious about his process or wants to learn something better than cold blue.

Ill check it out. I've looked in to more times than I can count and can never get myself to commit to doing it. I have a few rifles that I would like to do.
