Lee RGB dies

Hey guys I bought a set of Lee 22-250 dies when I was south of the border and they were realy cheap (I know like me)So I bought them. I have used lee dies before and they worked ok. After I got back I started looking and found out that they were Lee RGB dies and are about half the price of the other lee dies. Can any one tell me what the differance is? Are they made out of differant material? will they work the same? Why are they so cheap?
Any information you guys can give me I would sure appreciate.

I use them in 223, and they seem to work well. I haven't had a chance to shoot any ammo loaded with them yet, but soon.

I use a set of the RGB in .260 work fine. sub moa at 200yards.

Too the seater die not fitting well I have had that issue with several different brands and did the same thing as mentioned above.
 
The differences are that the RGB (Real Good Buy) die sets do not include a shellholder, powder dipper or load data. They also come in a flat plastic box, not the round one that you can store the dies all set up in a spare turret.

That usually isn't a big deal, as most people use load data from a reloading manual or from the internet. Also, most people don't use the little yellow powder dipper. They use an adjustable powder measure. You can buy the round plastic cases for about 2 bucks, and the shell holders are easily available (if you don't already have one that fits your case).
 
I have a couple sets of them and they work just fine. I bought them to modify for a wildcat project I was doing. They work great and as far as I can tell are the same as the red box dies less the noted items above.

If you can find a way to make sure that no female will ever read this post I will tell you the truth. When I opend up the box I was so curious that I did somting that males are so great about not doing I read the instructions and it explained this to me. Now I am so afraid that some women will find out that I accualy read and learned somthing from the instructions because you know they will use something like this against us for ever.. They also do not come with the Lee Factory Crimp Die.

If you ever use one of these little jewels you will be hooked.
 
i sold all the rcbs dies i had and were able to buy replacements in rgb and even two others i needed. great deals and have never had much problem with them.
