I can hardly see the ranging square and when I do range something I cannot see the yardage readout.

Color is red/orange and it is very faint.

Can I adjust the brightness?

Just inserted a new 9v battery and no change.

Tell them you will buy 2 at $450 & Ill give you $451 for the "spare".
Yea its the difference in price between them I know for that price.

I just got a phone call from Leica, they said they do not repair the old models any longer.

They are going to send me a NIB CRF1600B for $450.00.

And while I was giving the gal (Brenda) my CC info I asked if they would mail back my old LRF1200.

She said - No problem!!

I feel it will work good as a back up 2nd unit in lowlight conditions.


 
Man that's even greater, giving you it back and a new one for 1/2 price....call her back and get another 1600b!
