For all that are interested, Lecia has introduced their new 900 and 1200 laser rangefinders with a new scan mode. When you click for range just hold down the button and it will range as you follow the movement. No more click and wait thing.
I just got a new LRF 1200 Scan yesterday. It's the first laser rangefinder that I have used and all that I have done with it is range some houses, mailboxes and trees around the house.
The scan feature seems to be good for making sure that your on the intended target as this very light instrument is hard to hold steady as pointed out in other topics.
I got if from www.dnrsports.com for $439 plus a $12.90 Fed Ex shipping charge.
From the way my mind is thinking this instrument is going to change my rifle hunting in a fundimental way. I have shot pests at long range of course before but most of the time by walking them in with a spotter. Now I am thinking of new barrels and scopes etc.
