Here's a picture of a 308 using subsonic Maker Rex 180gr bullets. I wouldn't personally recommend anything smaller than 7mm subsonic but Paul over at Maker Bullets is the guy I'd talk to. His specialty is subsonic bullets. If need be I also have pictures of a lot of other subsonic bullets killing things and their damage.
