Lets take a poll

Most of the evidence (at least by the prosecution) is in on the Zimmerman case. All the prosecution can do now is try to discredit the defense witnesses. Based on what has been presented, how would you vote if on the jury?
I would vote "Not Guilty"

I would vote Not guilty, based on what the procescution presented.
I would also vote to hold the DA Liable for slander and allow a suite to be brought against the city to sue for loss and damages.. This should never have been filed. I would also give a judgement against all of the shucksters that made this into something it wasn't.

I don't think he's guilty of anything a normal person wouldn't do in those circumstances. I'm hoping o's influence doesn't get him convicted anyway. No matter how you look at it it's an expensive right to exercise of course the alternative is a funeral if you don't. There is no reason for this trial to be covered by the media the way it is. I hope Zman is acquitted , gets a good civil attorney and agent and lives happily ever after

Places with a large groups of "people of color" Like Oakland, Los Angeles, just here in Ca. may see some problems. Should be interesting to see what happens.

Not guilty. The only neighborhoods burned will be their own.

Pretty smart huh?

Six women on a jury can go anywhere. If they are all regular Oprah watchers he's in trouble. I see a new term coming, reverse jury nullification.

I've always been under the opinion that the biggest problem with the criminal justice system is reasonable thinking people like us do our best to weasel out of jury duty. They end up with soap opera, Jerry Springer watching folks.

Considering that the elements of Second Degree Murder were pretty well shot to pieces by the Forensic Medical Examiner brought in by the Defense, I'll be really surprised by a Guilty verdict...All the state had was really circumstantial evidence to present, with no real witnesses, and the testimony given on the side of the defense was explained in both technical and layman terms that even the most uneducated could understand...Emotional factors are about all that is left...

Regardless of the verdict, I still feel that we, as a nation, are going to be in for a long hot summer...Not Guilty and the Black radicals will be wanting to riot, Guilty and the Black radicals will be emboldened to initiate similar situations and there will be more 'self defense' shootings with similar publicity...

Not guilty. The only thing I've seen that could be potentially damning is Zimmerman's statement of "That doesn't sound like me" referring to screams for help. "course I probably wouldn't recognize my own voice screaming either as I haven't done it since I was a kid. Hope the defense brings that up in some fashion or the other.

I say the media is guilty of enciting race related turbulence and has already sentenced Z to death regardless of what the courts say or what actually happened. He will never be able to walk the streets again or have his name on a mailbox in the U.S. for fear of being torched or shot in the name of some hyped up racial revenge.

If I were in his shoes, I'd have my civil lawsuit scheduled and go right back in court and drain the media outlets that fabricated stories and tampered with recordings and photos. They'd pay for my comfortable yet secure seclusion from public life

Not guilty. There seems to me to be some type of hate crime perpetrated against Mr.Z as all of this seems to have happened because he is not black.

Not guilty. The prosecution has to prove their case "beyond a reasonable doubt" in order to convict GZ. They have provided no evidence that would even begin to approach, much less cross, the threshold of beyond a reasonable doubt.
I hope he smokes the people who put him into this racially driven witch hunt. I hope he takes everything they have in civil court, then hires a few of them for minimum wage to be his servants. One can rub his feet while the other brings him little umbrella drinks as he writes his future best selling book about it all.
