Leupold 3x9 Anniversary scope is this a vx3?

Debating on picking up one for the new 7600 pump chambered in 35 Rem and wondered if this is a VX 2 or 3? Thought it would be kind of neat to have last years limited production gun chambered in a 100 year old round with this years 100 year old optic. I wanted to go 2x7 but might stick with 3x9 for this rifle. Anyone know where I can find one reasonable? In stores they sell for $349 and I have seen them on eBay for $50 cheaper. Couldn't care less about the tin, medallion, or knife, just want the optic.

I wondered the same thing if it was a VX2 or VX3, the guys in the local gunshop couldn't tell me. I wonder if it is even a 2, might be a VX1 priced way up? It is kind of neat looking though. I wouldn't buy it for any kind of perceived collector value however.

It is the VX-II line of scope. I have one that I put on my BDL 6mm and I love it. Another friend of mine has 4 of them. He says one will never come out of the package, one is on a Winchester 30-30 and the other 2 on Weatherby XXII in 22lr and 17 HMR. I truly beleive these are great scopes for the money and for what you get with them plus it has the 3 dot reticle. This is just my thoughts on the scope.
