Leupold Mark 4 PR 4.5-14x40 What's it worth?

I have a Leupold Mark 4 PR 4.5-14x40 with fine duplex reticle and was wondering what it would be worth? I am toying with idea of a new scope and just wondered where I am on price with this one.

What turrets? You would get a fast sale at $6-700. If I saw one listed at that price I would make dang sure it isn't a copycat. Those scopes are over $1000 new.
 
It has the Target turrets. These are the tall turrets that are covered with a cap and not the tactical type. It also has the side focus adjustment knob. Leupold list this scope as a "Dual-Use", good for tactical or target/hunting.

For me I would not be interested knowing it had target Turrets on it. Seriously not so long ago when you traded a gun the scope on it was a give away. Now Leupold has sort of changed that. My opinion I would not give over $500 for a used scope period. Pawn Shops generally offer half what a gun is worth then add 25% to sell it sometimes less. Scopes are given less value than that, so your scope is not worth that much on the used market.
 
If the scope has a serial number on the bottom your good to go. And yes the scope is well worth three quarters price new considering leupld has lifetime replacement to any owner. So if its authentic wouldnt matter if somethin was wrong it would be taken care of free of charge. And i doubt that anyone with a mind would pawn off a rifle with a scope worth as much if not more than the gun and take a loss like that knowing it!

Was givin him an idea of bottom end dollar he could get no reason he couldnt get 800+ if no ring marks or scratches

Yes it has the target turrets and it is a 30mm tube.
