I was curious if anybody on here has a Leupold Mark AR Scope? I have been drooling over them online, but have not seen one in person. I thinking for $3-400 price range they might be the way to go for an AR.

The AR line is 1/2 MOA adjustments. And all the AR series has "field" turrets. Glass wise, I believe they are VX-2s.

I have 2 of the Mark AR 3-9x40 scopes. They are a nice scope. I think if I were to do it over again I would get the Mark AR 1-4x20 or the Weaver 1-3x20. In fact I may sell the new , never mounted one and get the Weaver. If you are planning on shooting at a distance the 3-9 is great, but if your action is closer I would use a lower power. They have nice glass, the bullet drop works with the right ammo, and they have a lifetime warranty.

I got the 3-9 on my R15 and really like it. I have shot it out to about 425yds and it tracks spot on. Pretty nice optic for the money IMO.

Great scope and tracks as advertised. Mine is a 3x9x40 on a very accurate bolt rifle in 223. Zero'd at 100 yards and had target set at 200/300/400/500. 3 shots at 100 all touching then dialed out and hit each target 1st shot and after 500 yards dialed back down to 100 yards and it put another bullet right on top of the first three. Can not ask for more than that.

I believe the 3x9 and 4x12 are 1/2" per click and the 6x18 is a 1/4" or 1/8" per click but check their web site or somewhere that sells them it should say.

I would buy another one but would go up in power.

I've had the 4-12; it's 1/2", and a 6-18; it's 1/4". They worked well, but I didn't think the glass was very good for that kind of money.

I have three and they're great scopes for the money and the turrets work fantastic with any centerfire rifle. Love that they're marked in both yardage and MOA, which makes 'em easily compatible with a drop chart. I have them on .223, .308, and .300 WSM.
