Leupold WindRiver Binoculars

I have had them for about 4-5 years and they are awesome. Leupold is all that I buy. I realize that Leupold imports them, but they still require the same greatness from this Wind River brand.
Completely waterproof. Are hard to fog up.
I would highly recommend.

I'm the lone dissenter on the loopy's it looks like. I have a pair of the cascades and they sit it my truck. The pair I grab when I head out the door to hunt are a pair of Brunton Eterna 7x42's. These are the older style Eterna's, not the new model. No one who has looked through both have ever thought the loopy's had better glass in them. The Brunton's aren't top end bino's by any stretch of the imagination, but they are alot better to my eye than my pair of loopy's. YMMV

I personally wouldn't buy a pair of bino's without looking through them first. If your local shop won't let you look through them outside, I'd try to find one that will let you.

My Wind Rivers aren't Cascades. They are 8x32 and 5-6 years old. Great glass for the money and would buy them again in a heartbeat. I compared them last week to my Dad's new $600 Steiners and still thought the Wind Rivers were better. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Got some Windivers today they are so far really good and very clear. Just have to see how they hold up , hopefully as good as all of the other Leupold products I have owned.

They will hold up don't worry. I have had a pair of 8x42's for about four or five years now and I have put them through rigorous use and they perform like the day I bought them.

Just got a set of 10X50 mesa for christmas /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Had them out a couple times and really starting to like them
Little different than my old tascos. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I'am on my second pair of Wind River's. After three years of use, they fogged up on a moose hunt, and I was stuck without. I returned them to Gander Mountain when I got home, and they exchanged them on the spot.

I hate Leupold Wind River binos. A mate of mine bought a pair and they look just as good as my Nikon ATBs and his are lots cheaper than mine. Hate 'em.
