I have been searching on here about a vid cam and trying to decide what to get. The Lid cam has a zoom and the GoPro doesn't. I wouldn't be using it for a point and shoot camera as I already have one for that. I couldn't find much on the Lid Cam and don't know about the quality of the vids. Thinking with the zoom that might be a nice feature to bring the animal in closer.
