I can't decide on the 2. I never shoot over 200 yards becasue of the location where I live. Is it worth the extra 20 buck for the 170 or should I just get the 140. I don't want to spook the game with too much light. Most of my shooting will be around 150 yards or less. Also, whats the size diiference in the two. Thanks guys.

If you never shoot over 200 yds i would say the 140 is good enough, there is a little diffrence in lens size and weight and of course range and brightness of the beam a friend of mine uses one for lamping rabbits,i use the rifle mounted(if shooting alone) & the hand held 170 for lamping fox's these ar very good lamps to use

Id get the 170,the package comes with a battery saver so you can use what ever brightness you need. That way after a few weeks go by you wont be thinking I should of got the 170.Also if your going to get extra batteries try batteriesASAP,they sell the exact same batteries for 15.50ea.Thats a big differencs from the $42 and $44 places.

For the price diffrence I would go with the 170. Sure you may not shoot over 200 yards but it is nice when you can see them comming from farther.
