Is the lightforce 240 going to be too bright for calling in predators? I mainly hunt in southwest Texas (Sutton County) and the country can vary from very open to very brushy. Thanks

The 240 has a Range of over 1,500 yards with out filter and 750 yards with filter......

Has the same adjustable light, by rotating the head from a beam to a flood........comes with the GLo-6 bulb that puts out 1 Million CWP.....for the SL240

I have a night hunter I am looking to sell. I paid $250 it's brand new. plus I have an extra shot gun mount hardwear 30$ dollar value. I will let it all go for $225?

Thanks, Pa

The 240 is a great light and reaches WAY out there. But it starts to get heavy very quick if you're swinging it all night and will have your arms aching.

Is the 240 heavier than a Q-Beam? I've never held a 240, but I've held a Q-Beam over my head for countless hours and that burning in my shoulder got OLD. No problems now with my 170! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Take care and God Bless,

Rusty

I don't think it is so much the weight as it is the design of the angle on the handle. Also, once you add a hood of some sort it begins to get front heavy after using it a while.

I'd be willing to trade my 240mm reflector housing for a 170mm reflector housing.
