Greetings gentlemen, and ladies;
Would anyone know the weights of the NightForce lights and/or battery packs? I've read enough posts to know I must have these tools ASAP, but not sure which battery packs have been refferred to, guess I'll get the big one...that's usually a good place to start /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Would like to hear reports on chargers to, I see that they offer more than one model of those too.
How did I live to this age without learning of such a dialed light?
Thanks a Million x

The lightforce lights are extremly light. I belive their site shows the weight, but does not show what the C.P. rating are.
I do know Lance is around 350,000 C.P. and this is the one to use for the rifle or shotgun.
The biggest handheld is a true 1 million C.P., this is great for using from the truck.
The batteries I would get from;http://pacificpowerbatteries.com/

I would go for the SLA 12V @ 12 AH,this will have the spade connectors, if going to a stronger battery then the connectors will be different.

If inquiring about the lights from their site, may want to ask them if they still make the "red defusser" lens. This lens really softens the light and the coyotes or what ever will walk right into you.
lightforce.com is the site, I sent them e-mail last week asking what their C.P ratings were and haven't gotten a reply as of yet.

Seal Lead Acid battery will be about 11 lbs.

You will really like them.

I am thinking of getting a lightforce battery pack, i see they have a big and a little, it looks like 17 amp for big, and 7 amp for little, not sure what to get, will go to the sites you recommended and sniff around now...Thanks

ps have you any opinions on lightforces batteries?

I recently purchased the handheld Stricker. The seller recommended the 17 amp unit due to the current draw. Per the seller's comments, you can go with either if you purchase the Lance.

The 7 amp will be to small for much burn time and I think the 17 amp may be fairly heavy, but will last much longer for the burn time.

I had a 7 amp at one time and it was short lived when using a 500,000 C.P. light.

I just got the lance 140rmsm it comes complete in a tackle box, it has the light, red filter, rifle, shotgun, bow mounts, charger, battery pack the model I got has the full on and dimmer switch, and carry bag with shoulder strap. I paid 175 out the door. I could not be happier with the light, it is super brihgt and light weight. it is 250,000 cp, the light itself weighs just 390 grams. I don't have the weight of the battery.

I have the Lightforce Rheostat pack with a 7amp hr battery and with the Lightforce "Predator" spotlight it will last all night easily. With the on/off usage between stands I get about 5hrs run time before it starts to dim. The "Predator" is rated around 185,000cp.

I am all about really seeing what I am going to shoot at. I use a 3,000,000 cp Sportlight spotlight that has twin beams. Thye don't make a cover for it, but a red marker softens the light a lot. It weighs 6 pounds and can be bought form Cabelas. The battery will last all night unless you are driving and spotlighting out the window continously.

I just received both lights in the mail yesterday, and I am VERY impressed. The quality and workmanship is great. I will be testing them over the next few weeks and it looks like I will be pleased. Randy

According to my yote scale the 7amp battery with carry case and attached dimmer weighs in at 6.5lbs.

Randy, you're gonna love this light!
